Classes & Workshops
Besides being a performing artist, Matthieu is also a prolific teacher.
With a teaching style that has often been characterized as passionate, patient, ambitious and supporting, Matthieu is able to bring guitarists to an ever higher level of playing and understanding.
He does this by truly delving into the matter, pinpointing where the most improvement can be found and working on these themes with a vast array of material, excersises and approaches.
All this whilst taking the student’s character and ambition as key, building a bond based on trust and friendship, and focussing on the student becoming a stronger and more independent guitarist.
Currently Matthieu is teaching in the area of Rotterdam, but online classes are also available.
Matthieu also gives workshops and masterclasses.
From routined flamenco guitarists to complete novices, he’s able to find a way of engaging with the participants and leaving them with more knowledge, material and motivation to further develop themselves as guitarists.
Classes, masterclasses and workshops can be given in English, Dutch or Spanish.
